FAWC meets twice a week on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 18:30 to 22:30.
The Pantry’s location in the UK’s largest and best preserved Napoleonic Fort lends itself to Historic wargaming, but it’s difficult to find a game not played here. The most popular tend to be Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar, but there are dozens more.
A full range of boards, mats and terrain are available for use, so all you need is an opponent and your miniatures / rules. Your first taster night is free, and after that it’s £4 per evening.
The Pantry has been our home since September 2019 and they are a stockist for Warlord Games, Goblin King Games and Modiphius – allowing you to order a huge range or games, miniatures and models. Parking is free and the evening is staffed, so food and drink are available throughout.
We’re also the home club of the Amherst Defenders tournament team who have had amazing success in their first season in 2022.
